Gifted Minds was founded to provide individual counselling and parental coaching that’s just a little exceptional. It begins on the foundational understanding that we don’t all have the same brains and nervous systems, much less experiences that have “trained” us all to react to the world similarly. This way, our needs in counselling and psychotherapy will be unique to each of us.

About Janet Chui

profile photo Janet

I’m a counsellor and therapist in Singapore with a Master of Counselling focused on trauma counselling for children and adolescents. I use an integrative,  trauma-informed approach for counselling that includes Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Transactional Analysis, and Family Systems. In many of my cases, I’ve worked with schools to ensure holistic support. I’m a Singapore Association for Counselling Provisional Member with over 800 practice hours.

Before completing my Master of Counselling with Flinders University and entering the mental health field, I worked in publishing, education, and the arts. I enjoy connecting with people from diverse cultures, ages, and neurotypes, and I believe passionately in creating safe spaces for healing, exploration, and learning.
